What is the Carbon Offset Program?

The Duke Energy Carbon Offset Program allows customers in North Carolina, South Carolina, Indiana and Kentucky to support programs and technologies that reduce their carbon footprint. This monthly contribution, in the amount of your choice, is added to your Duke Energy power bill.

Each carbon offset costs just $4, yet balances the equivalent of 500 pounds of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
