Where does the money go?
Duke Energy uses 100 percent of the contributions made by Kentucky customers to administer the program and support a landfill gas sequestration program through the Climate Action Reserve, a national offsets program that issues carbon offsets to verified emissions reduction projects. This monthly donation, in the amount of your choice, is added to your Duke Energy power bill.
